Calligraphy for words of Inspiration
People sometimes commission John for Hand-written, calligraphic art pieces on beautiful paper or vellum.
There are two types of calligraphy work being shown here:
A collectible original piece(s) that is commissioned; a favorite quotation or a poem: Could be Biblical, philosophical, or a passage from literature, etc.
The other type is social: Wedding Invitations, Social announcements, etc. These are usually prepared for printing in some quantity for an event.
Both types are designed by John and hand-lettered.
